Classic Strawberry Short Cake
Enjoy a sweet bite after a cool Autumn hike with this short cake recipe.

Ingredients:
- 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 8 slices, cut 1/2-inch thick, Sara Lee® Frozen Pound Cake, thawed
- 1-1/2 cups frozen whipped topping, thawed
- Chocolate curls (optional)
Directions:
- Sprinkle sugar over strawberries
- Place 1 cake slice on each plate
- Top each slice with 2 tablespoons strawberries, second cake slice, and 2 tablespoons strawberries.
- Serve with whipped topping and chocolate curls, if desired.
