Raspberry Valentines
Show that special someone, or those special someones, how much you care by serving them this rich, heartfelt recipe.
- Prep Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 package (16 ounces) frozen Sara Lee® Pound Cake, thawed
- 1 package (12 ounces) frozen raspberries, thawed according to package directions
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- ½ teaspoon lemon juice
- 1-12 cups frozen whipped topping, thawed
Directions:
- Trim edges of pound cake and slice horizontally into three slices.
- Using a 2-inch heart-shaped cookie cutter, cut each slice into 4 hearts.
- Combine half of the raspberries, sugar and lemon juice in a medium bowl. Crush remaining raspberries with a fork and fold into raspberry mixture.
- Divide raspberry mixture among six plates. Top each serving with 2 hearts and a dollop of whipped topping. Serve immediately.
Makes: 6 servings (2 topped hearts each)
