German Chocolate Layer Cake
Our double-layer German Chocolate cake is made with real whipped cream and features chocolate cake topped with a coconut pecan frosting.

SERVING DIRECTIONS:
IMPORTANT! Remove paper collar while cake is FROZEN. Locate the arrow on the collar; lift corner and pull down to loosen. Pull paper away from cake and unwind.
To quick thaw by the slice:
- After removing collar, slice FROZEN cake, wiping knife with a clean, damp cloth after each cut. Cover unused FROZEN cake and return to freezer.
- Thaw slices in refrigerator for 15-20 minutes; serve chilled. Cover unused slices and refrigerate; use within 2 days.
To thaw whole cake:
- After removing collar, thaw cake in refrigerator about 45-60 minutes.
- Slice cake, wiping knife with a clean, damp cloth after each cut; serve chilled. Cover remaining thawed cake and refrigerate ; do not hold at room temperature!
Store in freezer until ready to use. Important: remove collar before thawing.
